Thank you for visiting our website! Aldersgate Center for Child Development is a very special place for children and families! Exploring is key to learning! We encourage you to explore the subjects listed to the top left of this page to learn more about us.
As we complete our 31st year serving the Northview Community, we are also introducing new and improved additions to our learning environment. Our rich learning environment includes a plot in the Aldersgate United Methodist Church Community Garden and a natural playscape that includes new climbers, art, messy material area with natural materials, woodworking, and an outdoor music and movement area.
You are invited to become involved in our loving, nurturing community through volunteering, and/or serving on the board of directors as a parent representative. Together we will celebrate your young child's individuality and strengths, while helping him/her to prepare for kindergarten and beyond!
We are currently at Step 3 in the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Accreditation process. We have made a committment to become fully accredited by the year 2010. You can find out more by visiting their website at www.naeyc.org
