Thank you for visiting our website!  Aldersgate Center for Child Development is a very special place for children and families!  Exploring is key to learning!  We encourage you to explore the subjects listed to the top left of this page to learn more about us.

As we complete our 30th year serving the Northview Community, we are also introducing new and improved additions to our learning environment.  We began our first year of planting, maintaining and harvesting a garden plot in Aldersgate's Community Garden.  We are also building a natural playscape that includes new climbers, art, tricycle trail, tree blocks, sand, water and other natural materials, along with an outdoor music and movement area.  You are invited to become involved in our loving, nurturing community through volunteering, and/or serving on the board of directors as a parent representative. Together we will celebrate your young child's individuality and strengths, while helping him/her to prepare for kindergarten and beyond!  We are currently at Step 2 in the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)Accreditation process.  We have made a committment to become fully accredited by the year 2010. You can find out more by visiting their website at www.naeyc.org

You can reach us at 616-363-1210 and by fax at 616-363-0719.  We are looking forward to hearing from you!

You can also contact us at our e-mail address: information@AldersgateCenter.com, or you can contact the director, Shelley Fisher, at shfisher43@att.net
